Here’s an easy to overlook little gem of a MobileSubstrate plugin by Stimpy5050, for a ‘reflective dock’ on the iPhone, based on the earlier HTML/JavaScript hack by Sakurina (see Sakurina’s iPhone Hacks). It’s not available on Cydia, so you’ll have to find, download and install it yourself. I hadn’t seen it until Sakurina pointed me to it…
The installing instructions on the page linked to above are as follows:
1. SCP reflectivedock_1.0_iphoneos-arm.deb to any directory on your iPhone/iPod.
2. Run “dpkg -i reflectivedock_1.0_iphoneos-arm.deb” in the same directory that you uploaded it.
Instead of step one as outlined there, I tend to do step 1 slightly different (doesn’t matter which way you use):
wget http://david.ashman.com/reflectivedock_ … os-arm.deb
dpkg -i reflectivedock_1.0_iphoneos-arm.deb
